We have documented an array of resources -  everything from airports to zoos! (See RESOURCES A-Z) Our projects often fall under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act or National Park Service Guidelines, so we can help you with agency review of your project, no matter how big or how small. Founded in 1983, Preservation Company is New Hampshire’s oldest and largest preservation firm. We offer a range of preservation services to public and private clients, with a concentration in the New England region. We are listed as a certified woman-owned DBE in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont.

Preservation Company has partnered with architectural and engineering firms, government agencies, non-profits and private owners on hundreds of successful projects throughout
New England.

We also assist communities and local heritage commissions on diverse projects including the documentation of individual resources, town-wide surveys and planning efforts.

Finally, Preservation Company has been involved in many projects with developers, helping them to utilize the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards to obtain historic tax credits for certified rehabilitations. A number of these projects have won state-wide awards for excellence.
